Perth Sights and Museums
- Kings Park & Botanic Garden: This garden covers 400 hectares and, as well as bike and walking trails, there is a walkway that allows you to walk at the same height as the tree-tops and the West Australian Botanic Garden contains approx 1,700 different types of flowers.
- AQWA – the Aquarium of Western Australia: the aquarium has a glass tunnel that is 98 m long, the longest in Australia and it also boasts an impressive collection of dangerous and unusual sea creatures for you to see.
- Art Gallery of Western Australia: It has a permanent collection of Australian art as well as art from around the world and also contains an impressive collection of Aboriginal art.
- Scitech Discovery Centre: This centre has approx 160 interactive exhibits which allow you to learn about magnetism and acoustics etc. there is also a high-tech planetarium.

Perth Transports
How to get there by Air: You can fly direct to Perth from Adelaide , Brisbane , Cairns , Melbourne and Sydney . There are also international flights that fly directly to Perth.
By Train: You can catch the Indian Pacific train that goes via Adelaide from Sydney to Perth which takes about 65 hours in total. There are also trains from Bunbury and Kalgoorlie
By Bus: The main bus companies that operate around Perth is Greyhound and Transwa. There are daily buses from Adelaide and you also have an option of a 56 hour journey from Darwin
The company that runs the trains, buses and ferries in Perth is called Transperth. You can transfer between the different forms of trasvel on the same ticket. Tickets can be bought from on the bus and ferry or there are machines on the bus and train platforms where you can buy the ticket.
